Increasing demand for accredited cyber security professionals

According to the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), cybersecurity professionals feel that firms are experiencing a cybersecurity skills shortage and that the burden for cybersecurity professionals is increasing as time goes on. The research also indicates that there is a major scarcity of expertise in the areas of security investigative analysis, software security, and cloud computing security, among other things. According to the findings of this analysis, the market does not have enough cybersecurity workers with competitive skills.
