Tasks is a task-management app that you can use to manage individual and group tasks. Tasks can be used on mobile, desktop and web. You can filter your tasks to help you prioritize your work.

Here are some examples of what Tasks can do:

  • Track progress and publish tasks with real-time reports
  • You can assign tasks to users.
  • Tasks can be divided into individual tasks ( My task)
  • Collaborate on common tasks ( Shared plans).

Click on Apps to install Tasks. Next, type Tasks into the search bar. To install the app, click the Add button.

Then, you’ll be asked to log in. You will need to use your Microsoft account credentials. Next, you will need to allow Tasks access to a number of information about your account.

Now you can create your tasks. You can now add the task title, due date, quick notes, rate the importance, and set a reminder.

You can also turn messages from Teams into tasks. Click on the three dots to hover over the message that you wish to convert into a task. Select More options then click on Create task

Once you have created your task you can switch to Outlook and To-Do to review it.

Todoist

Todoist can be used as a task app. It’s very easy to use. Todoist is a to-do app that’s very easy to use.

Todoist can be found by clicking on the Apps button. Sign in to start creating your to-do lists.

Todoist allows you to quickly convert chat messages into tasks

  1. Simply hover over the message and click on the three dots.
  2. Scroll down to Other actions.
  3. Select Add task To Doist.
  4. You will see the new task on your to-do lists.
